We are at a cross road in respect of the survival of wildlife in Africa. A conference entitled: “Keep calm and Let Africa Take the Lead” took place on 6th of March, 2018 at the European Parliament, where for once members of the European Parliament and participants had an opportunity to receive first-hand factual information on what is needed to succeed in wildlife conservation in Africa, without the tainted, emotional and ideology-driven stories of European-based animal rights organizations.

Zondi Silence Makhubele, Member of the South African Parliament, Mpho Tjiane, Deputy Director, CITES Policy Development and Implementation, Biodiversity and Conservation, Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate, South Africa, Karl-Heinz Florenz, Member of the European Parliament, and Wilfried Pabst, landowner of a wildlife paradise in Zimbabwe joined Charlie Jacoby for a discussion.
