The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation is celebrating the UN International Day for Biological Diversity today by reaffirming its commitment to conservation of wildlife and its habitats.

Message from the President of the CIC

„The International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) is an active, global leader in promoting sustainable use and biodiversity conservation. The hunting community is, in fact, a strong ally in achieving the „mainstreaming of biodiversity“ through the wise use of natural resources, including wildlife. The CIC, among many other international organizations, believes that the strict preservation of wildlife is not the way to sustain biodiversity nor support the sustainable development of communities and livelihoods  in the long-term. Our vision is „A world that values and supports sustainable hunting for the benefit of people and nature.”
