Any life form is extremely valuable. The minute we don’t value it or don’t recognise the use of doing so, we disturb the natural symbiosis that exist and don’t have a reason to care for it anymore.

As such, there is a fine balance that needs to be maintained. The minute this balance is disturbed, it has a negative impact on all life forms. This is where the responsibility comes in. In what way are we going to manage the earth and everything on it to ensure its future sustainability and livelihood?

In the video footage ‘A Conservationist’s Cry’, the Professional Hunters’ Association of South Africa (PHASA) provides a unique perspective on the role that legal, responsible and ethical hunting plays in conservation.
