Exhibition opening – Au vernissage jeudi 14 novembre (17.00 > 22.00)

With nearly 7,000 visitors in Paris and Brussels, the Salon created and organized by Jean-Christophe Barbou des Places in 2011, and since then it has become the largest exhibition-sale in Europe entirely dedicated to contemporary animal art. This beautiful exhibition-sale became the RENDEZ-VOUS ESSENTIAL and a real REFERENCE FOR ANIMAL ARTISTS, and the AMATEURS and COLLECTORS of contemporary animal art. The Parisian exhibition attracts every year a large and loyal audience (nearly 4,000 visitors in 2018).

Nearly 50 painters, sculptors and other craftsmen are selected and are present throughout the duration of the exhibition. They sell their arts themselves, directly,  what they exhibit during the Salon. The themes are animals and nature, including wildlife (Africa and other continents), dogs, horses … This year the fair welcomes about fifteen new artists.

  • Open for 3 days to the public (free invitation but mandatory registration), from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th November 2019
  • On the 1st floor of the public stand of the Hippodrome d’Auteuil, on nearly 1,000 M2
  • With the support of FRANCE GALOP, owner of the Hippodrome, and many institutional, media and corporate partners including BARNES, TRANSATLANTIC BANK, SOCIETE CENTRALE CANINE, FICIF (Interdepartmental Federation of Hunters of Ile-de-France), METTEZ, BERETTA GALLERY, THE FRIENDS OF ROSA BONHEUR, THE COMPANY OF VENERIE, BOTTIN MONDAIN, MILLION, RUM CLEMENT
  • Nearly 50 French and foreign artists including 12 new exhibitors, selected by the Show Committee, present throughout the duration of the exhibition.
  • An exhibition that allows animal art lovers and collectors to discover or find confirmed or emerging artists.
  • => 40% new visitors each year, around 4,000 visitors expected for this 9th edition.
  • More than a thousand engravings, paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs … which will be exposed and sold directly by the Artists, at workshop prices, without commissions or intermediaries, from a hundred euros. The medal ceremony will be chaired by Jury President 2019, M. Alexandre MILLON, famous Parisian auctioneer.
