The theme for the 2011 contest was: “Birds in their natural Habitat”. Worldwide there was a lot of interest from photographers to participate. The vast amount of photos received were not only of high quality but also reflected the love and interest of the photographers for the nature and its living creatures. After an initial selection, 40 photos were presented to the participants of the General Assembly in Saint Petersburg for a final judgment.

The vast amount of photos received were not only of high quality but also reflected the love and interest of the photographers for the nature and its living creatures. After an initial selection, 40 photos were presented to the participants of the General Assembly in Saint Petersburg for a final judgment. Making a final choice proved not easy at all.

The 2nd Prize of € 750 goes to Mr. Dimitry CHELYAPIN, Russian Federation,

The 3rd Prize of € 500 goes to Mr. Peter FLEGO, Hungary,
for his European Roller bringing a meal to the nest
The Action Prize of € 250 goes to Mr. Le Huu DUNG, Viet-Nam,
for the Common Tern flying off with a fish.
