The only medal awarded by the CIC Trophy Evaluation Board is the CIC International Gold Medal. Hunters can apply for this award if their trophy meets the following conditions:

• It was measured at an international trophy evaluation event by 3 Senior International Trophy Judges and/or Certified CIC Measurers from different nationalities
• The trophy was measured with a full skull
• The trophy was taken under free range conditions
