The idea for this now famous Artists Exhibition of Animal, Hunting, and Nature was born at the Maison de la Chasse in Paris, one hundred years after the last Painters and Sculptors Exhibition of Hunting and Vénerie. The objective  aims at bringing  together a selection of the best contemporary  animal, hunting, and nature artists in a prestigious place. Here the artisans can meet enthusiasts  and collectors for direct purchases without intermediaries or commissions sales.

In Brussels, “Le Gaulois” (as the people of Brussels call it) is one of the oldest private circles in Belgium, an institution which is comparable to the Jockey Club of Paris. It is located in the center of Brussels, on Rue de la Loi, behind the Royal Theatre Park, close to the Royal Palace, the seat of the federal government, and the House of Representatives. Le Gaulois is the correspondent of the Hunting Club of Paris, where the show was born in 2011. It has more than 1,400 handpicked members and a “hunting” group of more than 80 members.

36 artists artists were selected to participate in this exhibition.
