Tamás Marghescu conveyed the greetings of the CIC leadership to the audience and stressed that all efforts to conserve large carnivores need to have hunters on board to regulate populations, contain poaching, provide intelligence on ground realities, and contribute actively to monitoring and habitat preservation and restoration.

The next step for the CIC and the Carpathian Convention is to elaborate a concrete annual work plan.
