On May 28th,  Honorary President of the German Hunting Association (DJV) and the Bavarian Hunting Association (BJV) , Dr. Gerhard Frank passed away, surrounded by his family. He was awarded for the Big Cross of Merits of the Federal Republic of Germany, and  for the Bavarian Order of Merits. He was an Honorable Head of Delegation of the German CIC Delegation, and an Honorable Member of the Union of Bavarian Professional Hunters.
On behalf of the German Delegation and the entire CIC, I thank Dr. Frank for his always clear and justified position on game and hunting in our society.
With his selfless commitment at state, federal, and international level, Dr. Frank has shown an unprecedented example of commitment to hunting policy.
The members of the CIC German Delegation express their deepest sympathy to the family, and the CIC German Delegation mourns the loss of one of its most deserving and versatile members.
