Farming minister Vogelsänger visits wild plant areas for energy generation

On the 23rd of July, the farming minister of Brandenburg, Germany, Jörg Vogelsänger visited agricultural areas of the seed company Saaten-Zeller in Phöben, Brandenburg.

He was following a joint invitation of the hunting association of Brandenburg and the nation-wide operation network “Lebensraum Feldflur”.

The aim of the network is to establish mixtures of different wild plant species in agricultural areas as an alternative to conventional energy plants.

Recently, the network revised its political statement concerning changes of the GAK (Joint Task for agricultural structure and coastal protection) making proposals for agri-environment and climate action.
