The Division Culture stands for the conservation of falconry as a form of hunting, for its appreciation and for the guarantee of its practice. It promotes the possibility for practicing falconry as an important branch of hunting in the history of civilization. It supports the long-lasting protection of the fauna and flora, especially all suitable measures for the protection and conservation of the birds of prey and their habitat. It helps in the form of management measures with the resettlement of regionally extinct species of birds of prey and with supporting of remaining populations of threatened species. The Division Culture examines special questions of the field, concerning falconry and birds of prey, makes proposals for solutions and formulates relevant guidelines. It makes suggestions and recommendations concerning falconry and birds of prey to governments, official departments and others being responsible for hunting and environment, as well as to national and international organizations. It uses its knowledge and engagement also to secure and strengthen the worldwide high reputation of the CIC.
