Crop and livestock production systems are implemented mainly in the European Union. Agriculture in Europe is one of the key-areas of the protection and the conservation of nature and its natural habitats. Over 50% of the surface of Europe is used agriculturally. The agricultural landscapes are important habitats for wild animals and plants.
We would like to shape the development of concepts for crop and livestock production, to push through the support of the idea of sustainability for the use of natural resources as a principle and to force the conservation and the protection of habitats as a model for agricultural landscapes.
